Scott and I brought our little daughter home from the hospital last night. I wasn't as scared as I thought I might be... more excited than anything to show Moana her new home! She's a champ in every way! She's currently in a colostrum-induced drunken coma so I thought I'd take advantage of the time to put some pictures up. These were taken at the hospital...

Ok, my favorite thing is that you have your ironman shirt on at the hospital. YEAH!! she is sooo adorable!! so did the bf'ing come naturally/easy??? still scared. How are you feeling?? ADorable Moana and love the name!
N.D.- Yeah, I took my IM finisher's shirt as my going home outfit! :) I thought it might be a fitting occasion, but honestly, the prize at the end of labor is WAY better than an IM finisher's shirt or medal!!
And the bf is easier than I thought it would be, although currently my nipples are *really* sore b/c I have a baby barracuda. She has good instincts and automatically knows what to do which helps A LOT. Not sure all babies are as easy? I don't know how long I'll bf, but for now we're doing fine and I actually like it more than I ever imagined I would. It's very sweet when your baby comes to you to meet his/her needs and then is oh so satisfied afterward.
My nips are sore too. Are you using Lansinoh? I hope you have an easygoing baby. I'm telling you - I don't know how people do it when they have sleepless, cranky babies.
