Ok, this video isn't 20 minutes... it's only 20 seconds! :) But too funny... at her party on Sunday, poor Moana wasn't interested in sitting in that high chair at all. And the birthday cake? NOT INTERESTED!! I think the real problem was that a whole bunch of people were standing around and staring at her. Let's face it, Nobody would be able to enjoy their food under conditions like that. Anyway, here's how the cake went over at her party.
I felt bad that she didn't really get the one-year-old-cake-eating-experience. So last night after she ate her dinner and it was just the two of us, I strapped her into the BOB, tied my running shoes on, and jogged her down the the grocery store to get a cupcake. We ran home with it, and here's how it went when she was in the privacy of her own home. She must have been thinking, "Hmmmm. It's green, but I don't think this is broccoli."

No more broccoli for me, Mom! I'm hooked on this cupcake thing. Looked like she wasn't even sure it was food to begin with. How fun!
Great videos! Thanks for keeping up all the posts:)
oh.... that second video is so cute! Too bad she was so not into the public display! ha!
Classic!! I was laughing out loud when she put the whole thing in her mouth! By the way . . she knows how old she is on her fingers? Smart girl!! :)
HAHAHAHA. Fabulous.
Nice! I just love the party one, that's one you'll have to pull out at her wedding :-) Did you manage to keep the white shirt white? The first thing I thought of was, green frosting ALL over the white shirt...love the whole cupcake in the mouth! Hope she had a fun day at the zoo!
I think I might have screamed like that when forced to eat veggies when I was little = ha! I love the video. Glad she finally got her fill of something sweet, its an absolute must to have cake/cupcake and spread it all over the place for your 1st birthday!
Ohmigod! I too took a look at the white shirt and thought, well that was nice while it lasted. Her investigation of the icing with her little hands is about the cutest thing ever. Oh yeah, and showing you how old she is is pretty dang impressive!
That girl has got some major discipline. If a cupcake were in front of my face for more than 10seconds it would be gone! Happy B-day to your baby girl!

Very cute!
You are very brave going with dark green icing and no bib!
i think you had more fun than moana did!
oh my gosh.. priceless!!! The first video was hilarious second one sooo cute! awww
hysterical. So funny that she stepped in it! My son's first cake experienced ended like that at his party too...waaaaaaaaay too many people for his comfort zone.
So glad she figured out what to do with that mushy green stuff though! She started to love it by the end. so cute.
